Coloring with friends, together or with separate answers
By Bottle Me · Updated
Coloring together usually means the same table and the same book. The digital version removes the same-table requirement — you can co-fill a bottle with a friend across any distance, on your own schedules.
How a shared bottle works
You fill part of a bottle and hand it over via invite code, QR or link. Your friend finishes it whenever they open the app. Nobody has to be awake at the same moment.
Why it works as a friendship ritual
It gives you something concrete to react to — a palette, a half-finished idea — which is easier than generating conversation from nothing. And it leaves an artefact: a joint piece.
For couples and long-distance friends
Shared bottles are the async equivalent of painting night together. The reveal — seeing which colours they chose — is the actual conversation starter.
