What stays local in Bottle Me, and what goes online?

Personal records are local by default

The app stores personal creations and settings locally. Uninstalling the app or clearing local data can remove these records. Local deletion does not automatically remove content already shared or processed through an online service.

Duo and community features use online services

Duo sessions process room identifiers, participant nicknames, themes, fill results and relevant reports so two people can connect.

Submitting a template to the community uploads the template, cover and sharing nickname. Approved content can be shown to other users. Check what you are submitting before sharing.

Smart features process relevant input

Smart template generation and Bottle Spirit readings send the relevant theme, input text, bottle labels and fill percentages to an AI service. Duo readings also use participant display nicknames and answers.

AI readings are intended for reflection. They are not included in the filled-bottle share image. Review a poster before sharing it.

Purchases, analytics and questions

Apple processes payments. The app checks purchase and restoration information to confirm Pro access. The app integrates Firebase and may process usage statistics and technical diagnostics; the website uses Google Analytics.

Is every Bottle Me feature offline?

No. Personal records are local by default, while duo sync, community sharing and smart features use online processing.

Does deleting the app delete online data?

Deleting local data does not automatically delete previously shared or online-processed content. Contact the team about online-data questions or deletion requests.

Does the website save slider answers?

The filling preview does not save or upload your selections. Website analytics are configured separately.
