A worry journal that empties the loop
By Bottle Me
The worry-time technique — postponing worries to a fixed daily slot — works best when there is somewhere concrete to park them. A colour-first journal is that parking lot.
The worry-time loop
Set a fixed daily window. In that window, offload: palette for intensity, texture for heaviness, one line if the worry has words. Outside the window, the journal is the reason the worry can wait.
Why colour helps postponement
Committing the worry to a visual record makes it feel stored, not lost — which is what makes postponement believable. A grey-heavy bottle is proof the worry was not ignored.
The weekly revisit
Once a week, look back at the worry bottles. Most will feel smaller in retrospect — which is the technique’s payoff, made visible.
